ok i have a great idea for all u pvp fans :

there shoud be a collesuem where the winner wins gold or somthing...
first it should be a 4 player death match no teams (free-for-all). Each player pays an amount of money (100gish) and then u go into the battle. Winner of the the battle gets 300g (thats the 100g from all of the other players). Also it would be kewl to have a duel arena (kinda like runescape lol) where players put u bids and winner recieves the prize. this is an awsome way to help pvp lovers get money and rewards pvp lovers wit more then just faction... this new idea will also help ppl grow lvlsand will be fun as hell.

any1 think this is a good idea???

The way I would do it is this:

There is an Asian style Collosseum opened up for people to compete for fun and glory. The players who go into the battle pay nothing to enter,but those who wish to fill the seats do. They pay to enter and can bid on who they think will win the battle. Also,every so often monsters are spawned in the colloseum to rouse the crowds and make things more interesting. Not to mention he/she who wins all the rounds of the colloseum match gets however much money was bid on him and some Balthazar faction for it. This Colloseum would be in a point between the Kurzick and Luxon factions and would be made of jade and some of the petrified trees solidifed wood.

This is how I would change your idea. Heh,pvpers would love the rewards for it if you ask me. Anyway,other than the way I changed it not a bad idea,but not so great either in the way you described it. Also,I agree with the free-for-all 4 vs. 4 you mentioned.

I think it should be a big 4 four player team skrimish. Not all characters can solo fight each other well. The monk(me) wouldn't have much of a chance unless he 55ed it.

Which isn't fair. So I aggree as long as its a team battle rather than 4 people everyman for himself.

Or maybe Anet could just give gold awards for PvP. Which would probably be better. Good idea though. Keep thinking!

Sounds good - if there were multiple districts fighting u could even have it work the way up through 4? arena Heroes ascent Style.

Match 1 - random
Match 2 - winners of match 1
Etc.

Could even increase the rewards per level - only thing is could get quite warrior heavy

Guild wars is, to quote NCsoft, a "coopetitive game." There is no such thing as a 1 man team in PVP. However, pitting 4 teams of 4 against each other would be fun to do (or watch).
IDK about gambling in GW, they haven't touched it yet for some reason. Who knows...
